MatsuJun, Gakky pair up for "Smile"

Jun Matsumoto and Yui Aragaki will co-star in a new TBS drama series titled "Smile". Takayuki Takuma ("Hana Yori Dango") is handling the script, though he is using his real name rather than his usual pen name of Mikio Satake.

Matsumoto plays a half-Filipino whose father has died and mother has disappeared. Despite his misfortune and the issues he deals with, such as race, he lives his life positively with a constant smile.

Similarly, Aragaki plays a young woman living cheerfully despite losing her ability to speak due to an accident. Her character is said to be modeled after a real actress in the theatrical troupe that Takuma runs.

The supporting cast includes Kiichi Nakai as a lawyer who watches over Matsumoto and Aragaki.

"Smile" will air on Friday nights at 10:00pm, starting in April.

6. What is your favorite drink?
Oolong Tea. (OMG YOU [CUTE] OSSAN)
Anything is fine. The one that I hate drinking is medicine. (Me too, me too! XD)
Water and alcoholic drinks [laughs].
Coffee. I usually drink black coffee but if I go to a store, I sometimes will drink cappuccino. (Is that why Aiba's always so energetic and hyper.. partly because he drinks kohi?!)
Pepsi Nex! (taking the opportunity to advertise his product, huh XD)

11. What is your favorite color?
Blue that is mixed with green.
Blue. Not wearing blue but I like to look at blue things, like a blue sky. (Me too, kind of. :D)
Black, white & red.
Lately, I like flashy colors. Like green or orange. (OMG AIBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ♥)
White, blue & grey.

25. What do you wear when you sleep?
Long-sleeve t-shirts and for the bottom, it's some pants that I don't know how to describe [laughs].
(LMAO, funny Ohno.)
Pajamas. [Sho-kun, who was next to Nino, said "You have pajamas? That's like an old man/ a father" and he laughed] That's right. And it has a pocket. I wonder what it's for? [laughs].

29. What do you want your future child to call you?
"Satoshi"
Anything is fine. "Kazu" is fine too. [Sho-kun shows up again. "How about "Nino"?] If so, I will tell him/her "You too." [laughs].

30. How many children do you want to have in the future?
One each, a boy and a girl.
Any number is fine. If I have many kids, I'll tell them to "Go & work" [laughs].
(Wahrao, stingy brat!!! XD He obviously wants his kids to earn money for him lor~ But it isn't like he's poor or anything now, he's a freaking billionaire!!! *Kicks Nino*)
Two. A boy and a girl. But not toshigo (ie. born one year after another) as that seems tough [laughs].
First have a daughter then a son.
I have an older sister, 2 siblings in the house. So that image is strong.


31. What was your ambition when you were a child?
Bakery shop owner, cartoonist & illustrator.
A policeman. But when I was in 6th grade, I got scolded by them over a very trival matter, so I gave up on that [laughs].

Soccer player. I even seriously thought about studying abroad in Brazil.
At first I wanted to be an athlete, like a baseball player, a pro-wrestler or a soccer player. Lastly, it was to own a chinese restaurant.

38. Are you a romanticist?
I do think/imagine about it but I think I'm not a romanticist.
I am a romanticist.

How will I be... I don't know.

40. Do you fawn over your girlfriend, or do you want to be fawned on?
Both [Laughs].

47. If you were to decribe Aiba Masaki in one word/phrase, what would it be? What kind of person is he?

Ohno: Miracle! If Aiba-chan follows you, something is bound to happen. Somehow, it's like things happen out of nowhere [laughs].
(Aiba the kiseki baby! :D:D:D Life will definitely be sugei interesting with him around~ ♥)

Nino: He is really cheerful & fun to be with. During work he's like that & when we meet for baseball or something, his tension doesn't change too.

Sho: Cheerful! Aiba-chan has the ability to make the atmosphere around him more cheerful, he is like the sun. I think this is his charm.
(:D)

Aiba: Weed. They thrive & grow freely. Even if you step on them, they won't bend, but that doesn't mean they are strong. Cuz if you step on them & they die, they won't grow again [laughs].
(WUT??? LOLZZZZZ)

Jun: It's good & bad - he is a baka [laughs]. Though sometimes he plans it beforehand & sometimes he doesn't, but it's impressive that he is able to act the role of a baka at anytime.
(...Probably because he is one naturally?? XD)

48. What kind of girl would suit Aiba Masaki?

Ohno: On the contrary, someone who is not a miracle [laughs]. If both of them are the miracle type, then things might become very dangerous. And someone who wouldn't stop Aiba-chan from doing what he is doing.
(WON'T THAT BE FUN??? XD)

Nino: That's why I'm saying this question is difficult! ...Aiba-chan can get along with anyone. I really can't imagine what is the type of person will suit him.

Sho: Someone who is cheerful just like Aiba-chan. And I feel I can drink by looking at "Aibakappuru" (Aiba couple) [laughs]. (Akin to something that is fun to look at? ^^)

Aiba: Basically I like people in general, so any type of person would be fine. If I really have to give an example, someone who is doesn't get angry easily would be good.
(XD I get angry rather easily~ I think. Kelila you should totally go marry Aibaka off like right now.)

Jun: Someone who can keep up with Aiba-chan's tension. So I think someone who has the same tension as Aiba-chan would be suitable.

49. If you were to decribe Ninomiya Kazunari in one word/phrase, what would it be? What kind of person is he?

Ohno: He really gets into things, get obsessed with things. I think he is really good at magic & games. But I'm like that too, so I can understand that.

Nino: He is quick-witted & his comments are sharp. And he is good at acting... These were written about me before [laughs] People also say I'm smart & good at sports [laughs].
(HOW HUMBLE XD But I love him anyway, that stupid adorable brat ♥)

Sho: He is quick-witted. I think so especially when I do variety shows with him. And he has dexterity, whatever he does, he can do it better than the average person!
(Dexterity.. reminds me of Maplestory :X *shot* Warrior or something right?)

Aiba: Domestic product! Fufufu. He's like the domestic product of any country or he has the good image that he is a good quality/genuine product... I connected this (analogy) to Nino!
(!?!?!)

Jun: Surveillance camera. I think he watches everything & thinks about various things. But actually, he is a really shy person.
(I LOVE HIS SHY SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Jun's definition is quite true. And pretty cute :D.)

50. What kind of girl would suit Ninomiya Kazunari?

Ohno: Someone who can accompany him when he does magic. I think he'll get a shock if the girl becomes better than him in magic [laughs]. And well, I think Nino can get along with anyone.
(I really want Neeners to teach me magic!~ So far only my eldest brother has taught me before.)

Nino: If it's someone who likes me & someone whom I like, that's good enough. There is no such things as conditions. And after we're together, I think various things will start to come along & there will be changes...

Sho: Nino can get along with any kind of people. I can imagine him being with someone who is like him, but I can also imagine him with someone who is the opposite of him.

Aiba: I don't think there is any tough conditions/requirements. Any type of person would be okay. Because Nino can get along with anyone.

Jun: Someone who is diplomatic would suit him I guess. I think he probably can't get along with people who are too frank/straight.
(I guess I'm too frank/straight? :()

Had Chem & Hist class tests today. Both were... rather fail. Haha. I hope I pass History. I didn't memorise much, seriously. :/

Received back our Physics class test papers and I PASSED IT. I PASSED IT!!!! 12/20. I spent the entire night before the day of the test mugging for E Maths test with brother instead and only spent like 1% of my mugging time on Physics haha. AND I STILL PASSED IT, THANK GOD @_@
Lihui said it'll be funny if I failed E Maths test instead, since I passed Physics test without mugging and failed E Maths after I spent the whole night revising for it. ._.
Jiayou, PK! Just in case you're disheartened or anything. Physics is pretty okay (TONS BETTER THAN CHEM AT LEAST), weely! :D

Received tons of candies and letters from team mates (♥) and other friends in school today, in lieu of V'Day tomorrow. :D I heard that someone's gonna go dating tomorrow, I wonder who~

Anyway, thank you Alicia, Vanessa, Xinying, Jiaying, Weiyue, Yunmin, Fiona, Suay, Jane, Jiahui, Simin and Xinyi for the candies, letters, cookies (Suay!) and flowers (Jane! Thank you, ♥ you :D)! Happy Valentine's to all of you guys and everyone else. 8D Hope I didn't miss anyone out!!

I owe everyone I know candies and letters and stuff still, will pay my debt on Monday hoohooz. Hope it's not too late. :P

Am going to ze temple tomorrow with family tomorrow morning/afternoon. I'm still contemplating accompanying Fish to go to Kino. XD;

SPEAKING OF NIJI, PK, FISH, LIHUI AND I WENT TO LIHUI'S HOUSE TO MAKE HONEY CORNFLAKES AND AFTER THAT I LEARNT TO PLAY THE FIRST TWO VERSES OF NIJI ON THE PIANO IN HER HOUSE FROM SCRATCH, YAY!!!!!!!
It's damn hard to find the keys just from listening to the song lor! :( But Fish is sooo qiang. Haha. She helped me find the chords/second keys or whatever you call it. :D
I think it's a rather big achievement for someone like me who doesn't have music background at all to know how to play the first two verses, heck that they're pretty easy to play XD

Lihui happens to be selling her piano!! :D:D:D:D But Idk if I can buy it, haha.
