Oliver Twist

1. Vulnerable/sensitive
- Cried when asked about his birth by board members.
"Hush! You know you've got no father or mother, and that you were brought up by the parish, don't you?" Oliver cries.

- When Noah insulted his mother, he almost cried and attacked him.
Oliver pounced on Noah after he said that it was better that she died as she'd have been hard labouring or even worse, hung to death.

2. Innocent/naive/gullible

- Oliver did not realize that Fagin and gang were actually pick-pockets; he thought they had a legal living and made handkerchiefs when the handkerchiefs were actually stolen.
Fagin asked Oliver is he wanted to make pocket handkerchiefs as easy as Charley. He said he'd want to very much, if he would teach him.

3. Responsible

- When Nancy dragged Oliver back to return to Fagin's den, he was determined to return Brownlow's books and money.
"They belong to the gentleman! Please send them back and the money, too..."
