Galileo: Episode Zero (movie)



"Fans of the drama series "Galileo" have one more thing to look forward to. Anticipation is already high for the "Yougisha x no Kenshin" movie, opening in theaters on October 4. Now, Fuji TV is turning it into a double dose: a one-shot special titled "Galileo: Episode Zero" will be aired on the same day as the film's release.

The special is set 3 years prior to the drama series, with the story being related to a murder case that was referenced in the original show. Detective Kusanagi (Kazuki Kitamura) is looking to solve a murder mystery, and he gets back in touch with his former badminton teammate, the brilliant professor Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama).

The special will also portray an incident from Yukawa's college days. Popular teen actor Haruma Miura plays the young Yukawa.

Other cast members include Masami Nagasawa as a student lab assistant and Karina as a mysterious woman tied to the murder case. Fuji TV will broadcast the drama at 9:00pm on October 4."

Bloody Monday (drama)

"Bloody Monday (ブラッディ・マンデイ, Buraddi Mandei) is a manga first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. It was authored by Ryuumon Ryou. It tells the story of a virus deal clinched in Russia on the Christmas eve. Purpose: unknown. Two clues: a mysterious lady "Maya", one of the gangsters, and "Bloody Monday", the keyword for the project. It will be adapted into a drama series, and aired from October 11, 2008 starring Haruma Miura.

Plot:
After a mysterious virus kills off a segment of the Russian population, Fujimaru has been recruited by the PSIA to find out what happened in Russia when Third-I PSIA agents had recovered an unknown memory stick containing files of the incident.

With his father accused of murdering his superior, Fujimaru is driven by the quest to find out the truth behind Bloody Monday."

Crows Zero 2 (movie)



"Last year's hit manga-to-film adaptation "Crows ZERO" has been confirmed to be getting a sequel, it was learned on Monday. Director Takashi Miike is again taking the helm, and popular actor Shun Oguri is reprising his role as the protagonist Genji Takaya.

Oguri has already begun training for the movie, which starts filming in July. The story is set about 8 months after the first movie. Genji is close to graduation at Suzuran High School, but one last matter must be settled with a rival school.

According to producer Mataichiro Yamamoto, there was never any intention to end the story after only one film. However, this sequel is reportedly the story's conclusion. Kyosuke Yabe is also returning, though other cast members from the first movie (such as Takayuki Yamada) have not yet been mentioned.

"Crows ZERO 2" will open in 2009."



"Up-and-coming actor Haruma Miura has landed another major role: he has been cast in the upcoming "Crows ZERO" sequel (directed by Takashi Miike). He will play the part of protagonist Genji Takaya's (Shun Oguri) greatest opponent.

Officially confirmed in May, the movie is set months after the first "Crows ZERO." Miura plays Tatusya Mito, the leader of Housen Gakuen, the rival school of Genji's Suzuran. RIZE drummer Nobuaki Kaneko is also appearing in the film playing the third-year Housen student Narumi, an original character for the film.

"Crows ZERO 2" is scheduled for a 2009 release."

Yay I'm super thrilled about Crows Zero 2. :D Collaboration of Haruma and Shun in the same drama/movie again! I loved their acting together in Binbo Danshi, it was super cute and hilarious. (Not to mention Shun being super retarded in the drama because his character IS so)

October 4 and 11, I'll wait for you two!! Haruma is sure damn busy right now. :l back to top?
